Cherry Mousse with Delicate Cherry Sauce
A light and airy mousse paired with a delicate cherry sauce, perfect for a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- β1 cup, fresh Cherries
- β1/4 cup Delicate Cherry Jam
- β1 cup Australian Whipped Cream
- β1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- β2 teaspoons Unflavored Gelatin
- β1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to soften.

2. In a separate bowl, whip the Australian Whipped Cream until stiff peaks form.

3. In a separate saucepan, combine the Cherries, Granulated Sugar, and Delicate Cherry Jam. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the cherries are soft.

4. Strain the cherry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing on the solids to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the solids.

5. In a separate bowl, whip the softened gelatin into the cherry juice until well combined.

6. Fold the whipped cream into the gelatin mixture until no white streaks remain.

7. Spoon the mixture into individual serving cups or a large serving dish.
