Braised Red Onion Stir-Fry
A savory and sweet Chinese-inspired dish made with deep-fried onions and a variety of spices.
Ingredients

- β2 medium Red Onions
- β2 inches Ginger
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- β1 tablespoon Hoisin Sauce
- β1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- β1 teaspoon Sugar
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the deep-fried onions and cook for 2-3 minutes, until crispy.

Add the sliced red onions, ginger, and garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the onions are translucent.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
