Pan-Seared Canadian Stew Meat
A flavorful dish made with seared Canadian stew meat, served with a side of sautéed vegetables.
Ingredients

- ●2 tbsp olive oil
- ●1 medium onionchopped
- ●2 medium carrotchopped
- ●2 medium potatochopped
- ●1 cup deep red wine
- ●1 cup beef broth
- ●2 tbsp tomato paste

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the chopped carrot and potato and cook for another 5 minutes.

Add the Canadian stew meat and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the deep red wine, beef broth, and tomato paste. Bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
