Australian Mushroom Dumplings
Hearty and flavorful dumplings filled with sautéed mushrooms and served with a rich, creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup MushroomsMixed varieties, thinly sliced
- ●2 cups All-purpose flourFor dumpling wrappers
- ●1/4 cup Vegetable oilFor pan-frying
- ●1 medium OnionThinly sliced
- ●3 cloves GarlicMinced
- ●2 tablespoons Shaoxing wineFor added flavor
- ●1 tablespoon Soy sauceFor added flavor
- ●1/2 teaspoon SaltTo taste
- ●1/4 teaspoon Black pepperTo taste
- ●1 cup Decadent sauce (store-bought or homemade)For serving

Combine flour and water in a large bowl to make dumpling wrappers. Knead dough for 5 minutes.

Divide dough into small balls and roll out into thin circles.

In a separate pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add sliced onion and cook until softened.

Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add mushrooms and cook until tender. Season with soy sauce and Shaoxing wine.

Place a spoonful of mushroom mixture onto a dumpling wrapper. Fold and seal the wrapper.

Pan-fry dumplings until golden brown on bottom.

Serve with decadent sauce and garnish with sliced scallions.

Cook dumplings in boiling water for 5-7 minutes, or until cooked through.
