Mediterranean Duck Confit
A rich and savory dish featuring slow-cooked duck leg confit, served with a crunchy, decadent garnish.
Ingredients

- β3 cloves Garlic
- β2 tbsp Lemon juice
- β1/4 cup Olive oilfor cooking
- β2 sprigs Rosemary
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Pepper
- β1 cup Crunchy breadcrumbsfor garnish
- β1 cup, shredded Decadent cheesefor garnish

Preheat the oven to 275Β°F (135Β°C).

Season the duck legs with salt and pepper.

In a large Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Sear the duck legs until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the Dutch oven to the preheated oven and cook for 2 1/2 hours, or until the duck is tender.

While the duck is cooking, mix the garlic, lemon juice, and rosemary in a small bowl.

After 2 hours of cooking, brush the duck legs with the garlic-herb mixture.

Continue cooking for the remaining 30 minutes.

To make the crunchy garnish, mix the breadcrumbs and shredded cheese in a small bowl.
