Indian Mushroom Jalebi Stir Fry
A flavorful and spicy Indian-inspired stir fry made with mushrooms, jalebi, and a blend of aromatic spices.
Ingredients
- β1 cup mushroomsbutton or cremini work well
- β2 pieces jalebistore-bought or homemade
- β1 medium onionthinly sliced
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1-inch piece gingergrated
- β1 tsp cumin powderadjust to taste
- β1 tsp coriander powderadjust to taste
- β1/2 tsp red chili powderadjust to taste
- βto taste saltadjust to taste
- β2 tbsp oilvegetable or canola oil

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add garlic and ginger and cook for another minute.

Add mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5 minutes.

Add cumin powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Cook for 1 minute.

Add jalebi and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until they're crispy and golden brown.

Season with salt to taste.
