Canadian Poutine Casserole
A twist on the classic Canadian dish, this casserole combines crispy fries, cheese curds, and rich gravy, all in one delicious dish.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup Dark Canadian Cheese Curds
- ●2 cups Zy French Friesthawed
- ●2 tablespoons All-purpose Flour
- ●1 package Poutine Gravy Mix

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cook French fries according to package instructions until crispy. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, make the gravy by mixing the Poutine Gravy Mix with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

In a separate saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and whisk until smooth, cooking for 1-2 minutes.

Slowly pour in the gravy, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

In a large 9x13 inch baking dish, arrange half of the French fries in the bottom of the dish.

Sprinkle the dark Canadian cheese curds over the top of the fries.

Pour the gravy over the cheese curds.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
