Beef Dumplings in Indian-Style Gravy
A flavorful and spicy dish featuring beef dumplings in a rich Indian-style gravy.
Ingredients

- β2 cups all-purpose flourfor dumpling dough
- β1 cup waterfor dumpling dough
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oilfor frying
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β2 inches gingergrated
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 cup tomato pureecanned
- β1 cup bechamel saucestore-bought or homemade
- β1 teaspoon cuminground
- β1 teaspoon corianderground
- β1 teaspoon garam masalaground
- β1/2 teaspoon chili powderground
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

To make the dumpling dough, combine 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of water in a bowl. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it becomes smooth.

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.

Roll out each portion into a thin circle.

Place a tablespoon of beef in the center of each circle.

Fold the dough over the beef to form a half-moon shape.

Press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

Fry the dumplings until they are golden brown on both sides.

In the same pan, add the chopped onion and grated ginger.
