Spiced Cured Samosas
Crispy samosas filled with spiced cured potatoes and peas, perfect for snacking. Serve hot with a side of chutney.
Ingredients
- ●250g cured potatoespreferably leftover
- ●1 pack puff pastrythawed
- ●1 medium onionfinely chopped
- ●1 tsp garam masala
- ●1 tsp cumin powder
- ●to taste salt
- ●1 cup peasfresh or frozen
- ●for frying oil
Instructions

Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 180°C.

Peel and dice the cured potatoes.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, add the cumin powder and garam masala, sauté for 1 minute.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened.

Add the peas and sauté for 2 minutes.

Mix in the diced potatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Roll out the puff pastry and cut into desired samosa shape.

Place a tablespoon of the potato mixture onto the center of the pastry, brush the edges with water and fold the pastry to form a triangle.

Fry the samosas in batches until golden brown.
