Crunchy Pasta with Resinous Flair
A simple yet flavorful pasta dish featuring crunchy elements and a resinous polish sauce.
Ingredients
- β250g rigatoni
- β1/2 cup crunchyChopped nuts or breadcrumbs
- β2 tbsp resinousHoney or maple syrup
- β1 tsp polishCaraway seeds or paprika
- β2 tbsp pastaReserved pasta cooking water
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rigatoni according to package instructions.

In a small saucepan, combine the resinous and polish ingredients over low heat.

Stir the crunchy elements into the saucepan and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Reserve 2 tablespoons of pasta cooking water and then drain the rigatoni.

Add the cooked rigatoni to the saucepan and toss with the resinous polish sauce and crunchy elements.

If the sauce seems too thick, add a little of the reserved pasta cooking water.

Season with salt to taste and serve immediately.
