Irish-Style Pilaf
A hearty, comforting pilaf dish with Irish flair, featuring crunchy browned rice.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Vialone Pilaf Rice
- β2 tbsp Nano Browned Butter
- β1 medium Tartine Onion
- β2 medium Crunchy Carrots
- β1/2 cup shredded Bourke Cheddar Cheese
- β1/4 cup chopped Style Fresh Parsley
Instructions

Heat the browned butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the Vialone pilaf rice and cook, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes.

Add 2 cups of water to the saucepan and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed.

While the pilaf cooks, chop the carrots into bite-sized pieces.

Once the pilaf is cooked, fluff it with a fork and stir in chopped parsley.

Top with shredded cheddar cheese and serve hot.
