Monterey Jack and Pastry Quiche
A twist on traditional quiche, this recipe combines the creaminess of Monterey Jack cheese with the flaky crust of Ukrainian pastry.
Ingredients

- β1 cup, shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- β1/2 cup Shredded cheese
- β4 Eggs
- β1/2 cup Milk
- β Salt
- β Broil-safe pan
Instructions

Preheat broil to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out the pastry sheet to fit a 9-inch pie dish.

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and 1 cup of Monterey Jack cheese.

Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust.

Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of Monterey Jack cheese and shredded cheese.

Place the pie dish on the middle rack of the preheated broiler.
