Slovakian Cabbage Fritters
Crunchy fritters made with shredded cabbage, perfect as a side dish or appetizer. Serve warm with a dollop of sour cream.
Ingredients
- β1 head, shredded Cabbage
- β1 cup All-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- β1 medium, finely chopped Onion
- β2 cloves, minced Garlic
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- βfor frying Vegetable oil
- βfor serving Sour creamoptional

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, all-purpose flour, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Heat about 1-2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

Using a spoon, drop small balls of the cabbage mixture into the hot oil.

Fry the fritters until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fritters from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Serve the fritters warm with a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
