Salmon Tikka Masala
A classic Indian dish featuring salmon cooked in a creamy tomato sauce, served with a side of crispy polish salad.
Ingredients
- β4 salmon filletsfresh, skin removed
- β2 cups polish saladcrispy fried onions, chopped fresh cilantro
- β1 cup crispy onionsfor garnish
- β1 cup tomato pureecanned or fresh
- β1/2 cup heavy creamfor sauce
- β1 tsp garam masalaground spice blend
- β1/2 tsp cumin powderground
- βto taste saltfor seasoning
- β2 tbsp lemon juicefor marinade

Marinate the salmon fillets in a mixture of lemon juice, salt, and garam masala for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large saucepan, heat 2 tbsp of oil over medium heat. Add the cumin powder and cook for 1 minute.

Add the tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.

To serve, place the salmon on a plate and spoon the sauce over the top. Garnish with crispy onions and polish salad.
