Beef Croquettes with Crispy Italian Breading
A classic Italian-inspired snack made with beef croquettes coated in a crispy breading. Serve with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
Ingredients
- β12 oz Beef CroquettesAvailable at most grocery stores or Italian markets
- β1 cup All-purpose Flour
- β1 cup BreadcrumbsPanko or regular
- β1/2 cup Parmesan CheeseGrated
- β2 Eggs
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper
- β1 tsp Italian Seasoning

In a shallow dish, beat the eggs.

In a separate dish, mix together the flour, breadcrumbs, and parmesan cheese.

Dip each beef croquette into the eggs, coating completely.

Roll the egg-coated croquette in the breadcrumb mixture to coat.

Place the coated croquette on a plate or tray.

Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating process with the remaining croquettes.

Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

When the oil is hot, add a few of the coated croquettes to the skillet.

Fry the croquettes until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

Remove the croquettes from the oil with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
