Lamb Leg with Crisp Topping
A flavorful lamb leg dish topped with a crunchy, sour topping. Perfect for a weekend dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 (1.5-2 kg) leg of lamb
- β200g crisp
- β100g sour cream
- β3 cloves minced garlic
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
- β2 tbsp lemon juice
- β20g chopped fresh parsley

Preheat oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F).

Season the lamb leg with salt and black pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium-high heat.

Sear the lamb leg until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and roast the lamb for 20 minutes.

While the lamb is cooking, mix the sour cream, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.

Stir in the chopped parsley and crisp.

After the lamb has cooked for 20 minutes, brush the sour cream mixture evenly over the top.
