Croatian Pork Skewers with Crisp
A Chinese-inspired dish featuring marinated pork skewers topped with a crunchy crisp slaw.
Ingredients
- β500g Pork shoulder, thinly sliced
- β2 tsp Croatian paprika
- β2 tbsp Soy sauce
- β1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- β1 tsp Brown sugar
- β2 tsp Ginger, grated
- β250g Crisp, thinly sliced
- β250g Carrots, peeled and grated
- β20g Green onions, chopped
- β10 Skewers

1. In a large bowl, whisk together paprika, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and ginger. Add the sliced pork and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

3. Thread the marinated pork onto the skewers.

4. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through.

5. Meanwhile, combine the crisp, carrots, and green onions in a bowl.

6. To make the sauce, whisk together 2 tbsp of soy sauce and 1 tbsp of rice vinegar in a small bowl.

7. Serve the skewers with the crisp slaw and drizzle with the sauce.
