French Pork Casserole
A hearty French-inspired pork casserole dish, rich with creamy flavors and a hint of yeasty goodness.
Ingredients
- ●1.5 pounds Pork shoulderCut into 1-inch cubes
- ●1 loaf French breadCubed
- ●2 tablespoons ButterUnsalted
- ●1 medium OnionChopped
- ●3 cloves GarlicMinced
- ●1 cup Creamy sauceStore-bought or homemade
- ●1 cup Norwegian cheeseShredded

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, sauté the pork cubes until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the cubed bread, butter, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until the bread is toasted, about 5 minutes.

In a separate saucepan, heat the creamy sauce over medium heat.

Add the shredded Norwegian cheese to the saucepan and stir until melted.

In a 9x13 inch baking dish, create a layer of the pork and bread mixture.

Pour some of the creamy cheese sauce over the layer, followed by another layer of the pork and bread mixture.

Repeat the layering process, finishing with a layer of creamy cheese sauce on top.
