Spicy Spanish Chicken
A flavorful and aromatic chicken dish with a blend of Indian and Spanish spices. This recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β4 Chicken breastBoneless and skinless
- β2 tsp Spanish herb mixAvailable at most grocery stores
- β1 cup Light creamFor serving
- β1 tsp Cumin powderAvailable at most grocery stores
- β1/2 tsp Cayenne pepperOptional, for extra heat
- βto taste SaltUse kosher or sea salt
- βchopped (for garnish) Fresh cilantroOptional
- β2 tbsp Olive oilFor cooking
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 5-6 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the Spanish herb mix to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the cumin powder and cayenne pepper (if using) to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the chicken back to the skillet and stir to coat with the spice mixture.

Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, covered, until the chicken is cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
