French Tart Cream Puffs
A classic French dessert with a creamy filling and a crispy almond pastry crust. These cream puffs are sure to impress your guests with their rich flavors and delicate textures.
Ingredients

- β1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed Almond Pastry Crusthomemade or store-bought
- β1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- β2 large Eggs
- β1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- β1 tablespoon Finely ground almonds
- β1 teaspoon Vanilla extracthigh-quality extract

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of about 1/8 inch and cut into 12 equal squares.

In a small bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs.

Add the melted butter, ground almonds, and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and whisk until smooth.

Place a tablespoon of the sugar mixture in the center of each pastry square and fold the pastry into a triangle, pressing the edges together to seal.

Brush the tops of the pastry with a little bit of water and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

Place the cream puffs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

To make the creamy filling, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
