Norwegian Cod Bake
A simple and delicious fish dish from Norway, featuring cod baked in a creamy sauce with a crispy topping.
Ingredients
- β4 Cod filletsFresh or frozen
- β1 packet Creamy sauce mixAvailable at most grocery stores
- β1 cup Crisp breadcrumbsPanko or regular
- β2 tablespoons ButterUnsalted
- β2 tablespoons Lemon juiceFreshly squeezed
- β1/4 teaspoon SaltTo taste
- β1/8 teaspoon Black pepperTo taste
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsleyChopped

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Rinse the cod fillets and pat them dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, mix together the creamy sauce mix and lemon juice.

Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and pour the creamy sauce mixture over them.

Sprinkle the crisp breadcrumbs over the top of the cod.

Dot the top of the cod with butter.
