Dutch Potato Dumplings
Hearty Dutch potato dumplings with a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. Often served with a side of vegetables or meat.
Ingredients
- β3 large potatoespeeled and grated
- β1/2 cup all-purpose flourfor dusting
- β1/4 teaspoon salt
- β1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- β1/4 cup cozy milkor other milk

In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes and salt. Mix well.

Gradually add the flour, stirring until the mixture forms a dough.

Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.

Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.

Roll each piece into a ball and then flatten slightly into a disk shape.

Heat a large frying pan with about 1/2 inch of oil over medium heat.

Carefully place the dumplings in the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.

Remove the dumplings from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
