Turkish-Style Stuffed Lahmacun
A vegetarian twist on the classic Turkish dish, filled with juicy mincemeat and served with a side of cosy vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 package Lahmacun doughhomemade or store-bought
- β1 cup Mincemeatcrushed juicy tomatoes
- β1 tsp Turkish spicespaprika, cumin, and oregano
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out the lahmacun dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch.

Spread the minced meat mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Sprinkle the Turkish spices, onion, and garlic over the meat mixture.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pressing gently to seal.

Brush the top of the lahmacun with olive oil and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
