Baked Ukrainian Lasagna
A comforting and creamy Ukrainian-inspired lasagna dish.
Ingredients
- β8-10 sheets Lasagna noodles
- β1 pound Ground beefBrown at 375Β°F
- β1 medium, chopped OnionSauteed
- β3 cloves, minced Garlic
- β2 cups Tomato sauce
- β2 cups, shredded Mozzarella cheese
- β1 cup, shredded Cheddar cheese
- β8 ounces, softened Cream cheese
- β8 ounces Sour cream

Preheat oven to 375Β°F.

Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.

Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and saute until softened.

Stir in tomato sauce and bring to a simmer.

In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream.

Stir in shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Spread a layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Arrange 4 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.

Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on top of the noodles.

Repeat the layers two more times, ending with a layer of cheese on top.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
