Saudi Style Citrus Chicken Stir Fry
A flavorful and easy-to-make Saudi-inspired stir fry dish made with chicken, citrus, and spices.
Ingredients
- β1 pound chicken breastcut into bite-sized pieces
- β2 teaspoons saudia spice blendavailable at most Middle Eastern markets
- β1/4 cup citrusy saucesee below for homemade sauce recipe
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oilfor frying
- β1 small onion fry onionsthinly sliced
- β1 large bell pepper bell peppersthinly sliced
- βto taste saltoptional
- βto taste black pepperoptional

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Add more oil if necessary, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add onions and bell peppers and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add saudia spice blend and stir to combine.

Return chicken to skillet and stir to combine with vegetables and spices.

Pour citrusy sauce over the top and stir to combine.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped cilantro or parsley if desired.

Note: To make homemade citrusy sauce, combine 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice, 1/4 cup honey, and 2 tablespoons soy sauce in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth.
