Lemon Garlic Chicken and Rice
A light and citrusy Italian-inspired dish featuring chicken breast, garlic, and lemon, served with a side of flavorful rice.

- β3 cloves garlic
- β1 medium lemon
- β1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β1 cup cooked white rice
- β salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Rinse the chicken breast and pat it dry with paper towels.

Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and italian seasoning.

Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breast for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

While the chicken is cooking, squeeze the lemon juice over the cooked white rice and stir in some minced garlic.
