Irish German Crumble
A unique twist on traditional German desserts, incorporating Irish and citrusy flavors.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 cups bulgur
- β1 1/2 cups wheatall-purpose flour
- β1 cup crumblestore-bought or homemade
- β1 orange, zested and juiced citrusy
- β1 tsp irish cream liqueur irishoptional
- β1/4 cup sugar
- β2 large eggs
- β1/2 cup milk

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine bulgur, wheat, sugar, and crumble.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and Irish cream liqueur (if using).

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing until a smooth batter forms.

Transfer the batter to a greased 9-inch (23cm) springform pan.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.

Dust with additional crumble and serve warm.
