Chewy Turkish Delight with Mushroom Tart
A sweet and savory combination of chewy Turkish Delight and a flavorful mushroom tart.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Chewy Turkish Delightchopped into small pieces
- β1 sheet Mushroom Tart Crusthomemade or store-bought
- β1 cup Mushroomssliced
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tbsp Olive Oilfor brushing
- β1 tsp Thymedried
- βto taste Salt
- β1 cup Grated Tarthomemade or store-bought

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the mushroom tart crust and place on a baking sheet.

In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender.

Add minced garlic and dried thyme to the pan and cook for 1 minute.

Brush the edges of the tart crust with olive oil.

Arrange the cooked mushroom mixture on top of the tart crust.

Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

While the tart is baking, mix chopped Turkish Delight with a pinch of salt.

Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle the Turkish Delight mixture over the top of the tart.

Return the tart to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the Turkish Delight is caramelized.
