Smoky Lamb Skewers
A flavorful and spicy dish originating from the Middle East, where lamb is marinated in a blend of spices and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- β500g Lamb shoulder or leg, cut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 tbsp Smoky paprikaYou can use regular paprika if you don't have smoky.
- β4-6 pieces Chewy, eastern-style bread (such as Naan or Pita)Optional
- β200g Eastern-style salad (such as tabbouleh or fattoush)Optional
- β1 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
- β1/4 cup Fresh mint, chopped
- β2 tbsp Lemon juice
- β2 cloves Garlic, minced
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- βto taste Salt and pepper

1. In a blender or food processor, combine smoky paprika, parsley, mint, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.

2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

3. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

4. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

5. Brush the lamb skewers with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

6. Grill the lamb skewers for 10-12 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

7. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley and mint if desired.
