Slovakian Dolsot Potatoes
A hearty, crispy potato dish inspired by Slovakian cuisine, cooked in a traditional Korean dolsot stone bowl.
Ingredients
- β2-3 Large potatoespreferably high-starch potatoes
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 tsp Slovakian paprika
- β Salt
- β Pepper

Preheat the dolsot stone bowl in the oven at 400Β°F (200Β°C) for 10 minutes.

Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into 1-inch (2.5 cm) wedges.

Soak the potato wedges in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

Heat the olive oil in a large bowl over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Drain the potato wedges and add them to the bowl. Toss to coat with the garlic oil.

Sprinkle the Slovakian paprika over the potatoes and toss again to coat.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place the dolsot stone bowl in the oven and carefully add the potato mixture.

Return the bowl to the oven and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.
