Norwegian Kjottkaker with Thai Twist
A twist on traditional Norwegian meatballs, this dish combines the flavors of Thailand with the heartiness of Norwegian kjottkaker.
Ingredients

- β2 tablespoons buttery
- β1/2 cup norwegian biscuitcrushed
- β1/2 cup shatteringchopped
- β2 tablespoons fish sauce
- β1 tablespoon brown sugar
- β1 tablespoon grated ginger
- β1 teaspoon garlic powder
- β1/2 teaspoon salt
- β1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine kjottkaker, buttery, norwegian biscuit, shattering, fish sauce, brown sugar, grated ginger, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Using your hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs.

Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the meatballs are baking, prepare the Thai sauce by mixing together 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger.

Remove the meatballs from the oven and brush with the Thai sauce.
