Japanese Suet Croissant
A unique fusion of Japanese and French pastry, where suet replaces butter for a rich, savory flavor.
Ingredients

- β1 package Croissant doughHomemade or store-bought
- β1 tablespoon HoneyOptional
- β1 teaspoon Matcha powderFor color and flavor
- β1/2 cup Red bean pasteFor filling
- β1 tablespoon Green tea leavesFor garnish
- β1/4 cup Matcha glazeOptional

2. Roll out the croissant dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch.

3. Cut the dough into rectangles, approximately 3x4 inches.

4. Mix the chopped suet with honey and matcha powder, if using.

5. Spread a layer of suet mixture on one half of the dough rectangle.

6. Place a spoonful of red bean paste on top of the suet mixture.
