German Chickpea Falafel Bites
A German twist on traditional falafel, served as bite-sized treats perfect for snacking.
Ingredients
- ●1 1/2 cups chickpeadrained and rinsed
- ●1 package falafelhomemade or store-bought
- ●1/4 cup butterymelted butter
- ●1 cup fluffyall-purpose flour
- ●1/2 cup middleall-purpose flour
Instructions

Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, mash chickpeas using a fork or potato masher.

Add melted butter, flour, and mix until a dough forms.

Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F (175°C).

Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough into oil, making sure not to overcrowd.

Fry falafel for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Using a slotted spoon, remove falafel from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
