British Casserole
A hearty, comforting casserole dish that combines the flavors of Britain with tender beef and vegetables.
Ingredients
- β500g Beef (British cut)
- β1 medium Buttery onions
- β3 large Dense potatoes
- β2 medium Peppers (any color)
- β1 packet Casserole mix
- β1 packet Gravy mix

Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

Brown the beef in a large pan over medium-high heat, then set aside.

Add the buttery onions to the pan and cook until softened.

Add the dense potatoes and peppers to the pan, cooking for 5 minutes.

Add the casserole mix to the pan, stirring to combine.

Return the beef to the pan, stirring to coat with the casserole mix.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.

Mix the gravy mix with a little water according to the packet instructions, then pour over the top of the casserole.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and the gravy is bubbly.
