Turkish Delight Crumble Bars
A sweet and crumbly dessert bar inspired by Turkish Delight.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Buttery Crumble Toppinguse a food processor to crumble the topping
- β1 cup Turkish Delightcut into small pieces
- β1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- β1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
- β1/4 cup Unsalted Butter
- β1 Egg
- β1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar.

Add in the cold butter and use a pastry blender or your fingers to work it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Press half of the crumb mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

While the crust is baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

Add in the Turkish Delight and stir until melted and smooth.

Remove the crust from the oven and spread the Turkish Delight mixture over the top.

Top with the remaining crumb mixture.

Return to the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
