Irish Beef Stew
A hearty and comforting beef stew made with tender chunks of beef, potatoes, and carrots. Serve with some crusty bread for a delicious meal.
Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs Irish Beef (1.5 lbs)
- β1 cup beef stew (1 cup)
- β2-3 medium chewy potatoes (2-3 medium)
- β2-3 medium carrots (2-3 medium)
- β2 tbsp buttery flour (2 tbsp)
- β2 cups water (2 cups)

1. Cut the beef into 1-inch cubes and season with salt and pepper.

2. Heat some oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

3. Add the beef to the pot and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

4. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.

5. Add the beef stew to the pot and cook for 1 minute.

6. Add the potatoes and carrots to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.

7. Add the browned beef back to the pot, along with the water.

8. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
