Saudi Arabian Briny Fritters
Crispy, flavorful fritters inspired by Saudi Arabian cuisine, made with briny ingredients and a touch of Middle Eastern flair.
Ingredients
- β1 cup masarepa
- β1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley arabian
- β1/4 cup chopped pickled turnips briny
- β1/2 cup oil
- β1/2 cup water
- β1 tsp ground cumin spicesoptional
- β1/2 tsp salt
- β8-10 fritters

1. In a large bowl, combine masarepa, parsley, pickled turnips, cumin, and salt. Mix well.

2. Gradually add water, stirring until the mixture comes together.

3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

4. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop the mixture into the oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

5. Fry the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

6. Remove the fritters from the oil with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

7. Serve the fritters hot with a side of tahini sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
