Italian-Style Stir-Fried Pork Chops
A fusion of Italian flavors with a Peruvian twist, this stir-fry is a unique and delicious meal option.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds pork chopspreferably thinly sliced
- β1 bunch bitter greenssuch as arugula or kale
- β2 crisp bell peppersany color
- β2 tablespoons olive oilfor cooking
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 teaspoon peruvian aji amarillo pepper flakesoptional, for heat
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the pork chops and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the bitter greens and crisp bell peppers to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the cooked pork chops back into the skillet and stir in the peruvian aji amarillo pepper flakes, if using.
