Pan-Seared Blackberry Pork Chops
A twist on the classic pork chop, inspired by Japanese flavors and featuring a sweet and tangy blackberry glaze.
Ingredients
- ●4 chops (6 oz each) pork chops
- ●2 tbsp aromatic rice vinegar
- ●1 tsp snappy sesame oil
- ●1/4 tsp malaysian chili flakes
- ●1 cup blackberriesfresh or frozen

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

Heat the skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the sesame oil to the skillet and sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

While the pork chops are cooking, mix the rice vinegar and honey in a small bowl.

Add the blackberries to the bowl and mash them with a fork until they form a sauce.

Brush the blackberry sauce over the pork chops during the last 2 minutes of cooking.

Remove the skillet from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
