German-Style Squid Dosa
A unique fusion of German and Indian flavors, featuring tender squid in a crispy dosa.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Squidcut into bite-sized pieces
- β1 cup Dosa Batterhomemade or store-bought
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tablespoons Caperchopped
- β1 teaspoon MustardGerman mustard
- β1 teaspoon Paprikasweet
- βto taste Salt
- β1 teaspoon Aromatic Spice BlendGerman-style blend (e.g., salt, pepper, coriander)

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add 1 tablespoon of oil and cook the squid until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the squid from the skillet and set aside.

Add another tablespoon of oil to the skillet and cook the chopped onion until translucent.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chopped caper and cook for another minute.

Add the squid back into the skillet and stir to combine with the onion and garlic mixture.

Add the mustard, paprika, salt, and aromatic spice blend to the skillet and stir to combine.

Using a ladle, pour the dosa batter into the skillet and spread it evenly to form a dosa.
