Crispy Vegetable Vada
A delicious Indian street food-style snack made with crispy fried vadas and a variety of sautéed vegetables.
Ingredients
- ●250g vadahomemade or store-bought
- ●1L vegetable oilfor frying
- ●1 medium onionsliced
- ●3 cloves garlicminced
- ●1 inch gingergrated
- ●2 tsp aromatic spice mixstore-bought or homemade
- ●1 tsp saltto taste
- ●1/4 cup crispy fried onionsoptional garnish
Instructions

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Fry vadas until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Drain excess oil on paper towels.

In a large pan, heat 2 tsp of oil over medium heat.

Add sliced onions and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add minced garlic and grated ginger and cook for another minute.

Add the aromatic spice mix and salt and stir well.

Add the fried vadas to the pan and toss to coat with the spice mixture.

Garnish with crispy fried onions, if desired.
