Pan-Seared Pork Buns
A twist on the traditional dim sum, these pan-seared pork buns are filled with tender pork and served with a side of spicy sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Pork shoulder
- β1 bunch Bok choy
- β4-6 Bunsstore-bought or homemade
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β2 inches Gingergrated
- β1 tablespoon Sugar
- β1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- β1 bunch Scallions
- β1/4 cup Spicy saucestore-bought or homemade
Instructions

Preheat a skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add 1 tablespoon of oil and cook the pork until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the grated ginger and cook for an additional minute.

Add the soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce has thickened.

Add the bok choy and cook until wilted.

Split the buns in half and toast until lightly browned.

Assemble the buns by spooning the pork mixture onto the bottom half of the bun and topping with scallions.
