Filipino-Style Tofu Casserole
A fusion of Asian flavors and Western casserole comfort food, featuring crispy tofu and aromatic spices.
Ingredients
- ●1 block (14 oz) Tofupressed and drained
- ●2 cups cooked Aromatic Filipino Ricepreferably jasmine or basmati
- ●2 tsp Filipino Seasoning Blendcontaining garlic, onion, and bay leaves
- ●2 tbsp Tomato Pastecanned or fresh
- ●1/4 cup Vegetable Oilfor frying the tofu
- ●1 medium Onionchopped
- ●3 cloves Garlicminced
- ●1 large Bell Pepperdiced
- ●optional Filipino-Style Hot Sauce

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes and coat with Filipino seasoning blend.

Fry the tofu in vegetable oil until golden brown.

In a separate pan, sauté the onion, garlic, and bell pepper until softened.

Add the tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.

Combine the cooked rice, fried tofu, and vegetable mixture in a baking dish.

Top with additional Filipino seasoning blend and Filipino-Style Hot Sauce (if using).
