Japanese Beef Dumplings
A traditional Japanese dish featuring pan-fried beef dumplings served with a tangy dipping sauce. This recipe showcases the flavors of Japan with the comfort of homemade dumplings.
Ingredients
- β0.5 kg Slovakian Beef
- β2 cups mincedFor dumpling filling
- β20 DumplingsHomemade or store-bought
- β2 tablespoons Sesame oilFor pan-frying
- β2 tablespoons soy sauceFor dipping sauce
- β1 tablespoon acidicFor dipping sauce

In a large bowl, combine Slovakian beef, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

Lay dumpling wrappers on a flat surface. Place a tablespoon of beef mixture in the center of each wrapper.

Dip your finger in water and run it along the edge of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper into a triangle and press the edges together to seal.

Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add the dumplings and cook until the bottoms are golden brown.

Add 2 cups of water to the skillet and cover with a lid. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 10-12 minutes.

While the dumplings are cooking, prepare the dipping sauce by mixing soy sauce and acidic ingredient in a small bowl.

Once the dumplings are cooked, remove them from the skillet and serve with the dipping sauce.

Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds, if desired.
