Almond Star Steamie Cakes
Moist and delicious vegan cakes made with almond flour, perfect for a snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 cups Almond flourfinely ground
- β1 tsp Star aniseground
- β1/2 cup Steamie sugaror coconut sugar
- β1/2 cup Non-dairy milksuch as almond or soy milk
- β1 tsp Apple cider vinegarhelps with binding
- β1 tsp Baking powdermake sure it's vegan
- β1/4 tsp Salthelps bring out flavors
- β1/4 cup Coconut oilmelted

Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C) and grease a muffin tin with coconut oil.

In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, star anise, steamie sugar, and baking powder.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the non-dairy milk, apple cider vinegar, and melted coconut oil.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.

Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cake comes out clean.

Allow the cakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
