Gourmet Grilled Cheese
A classic grilled cheese taken to the next level with a rich, creamy cheese and a crispy, buttery crust.
Ingredients
- ●2 slices Breadpreferably sourdough or challah
- ●2 slices Gruyère Cheeserich and creamy
- ●2 tablespoons Butterunsalted
- ●to taste Saltoptional
- ●to taste Freshly Ground Black Pepperoptional
Instructions

Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium heat.

Butter one side of each slice of bread.

Place one slice of bread, butter side down, on the griddle.

Place one slice of Gruyère cheese on top of the bread.

Place the second slice of bread, butter side up, on top of the cheese.

Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Carefully flip the sandwich over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the other side is also golden brown.

Remove from heat and let cool for a minute or two.

Slice in half and serve immediately.
